Dario de Martino is a corporate / M&A partner, and co-leads the firm’s global Blockchain and Fintech group. He has a wide range of experience representing U.S.-based and global technology and regulated financial services companies with respect to their domestic and cross-border mergers & acquisitions, carve-outs, joint ventures, acqui-hires, joint-development deals, cross-border reorganizations, and other complex strategic transactions. He regularly counsels some of the most influential market participants with respect to a variety of matters relating to blockchain, tokenization, cryptocurrencies, and smart contracts. His experience in the digital asset space includes advising public and private companies with respect to blockchain M&A, strategic and private equity transactions, digital assets offerings, blockchain licensing and service agreements, and new blockchain-enabled products that implicate securities or other U.S. laws. He has been representing crypto market participants from each vertical within the crypto ecosystem, including: investors and acquirers, cryptocurrency exchanges, permissioned ledger developers, custodians of digital assets, developers of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) protocols, developers of NFT marketplaces and several other innovative blockchain-enabled products.
