Prof. Dr. Frank Emmert, LL.M., MCIArb, is a tenured professor at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. He teaches International Business Transactions, International Commercial Arbitration, World Trade Law, International Investment Law, as well as European Union Law and has published more than 100 books and articles in these areas of law. Besides Indiana University, Professor Emmert has taught at Cardozo, Tulane, Rutgers, and Stanford in the USA, St. Gall and Basel in Switzerland, as well as Amsterdam, Strasbourg, Sheffield, Prague, Warsaw, Tallinn, Guadalajara, Alexandria, Cairo, and several other universities. He frequently speaks at conferences around the world and serves as a consultant and arbitrator in international business disputes. In 2017, he co-founded PrepayWay, a Swiss based company developing smart contracts for international real estate and other business transactions secured on the Blockchain.
