Prof. Dr. Michael Truebestein MRICS is professor of real estate management and Head of the Master of Science in Real Estate (MScRE)-program at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (CH). In addition, since 2015, he has been working as president of the strategic council of Lucerne University.
He was professor of real estate management at the University of Kufstein (A) for 5 years (2008 – 2013) and participated in numerous consulting projects. Since 2013 he has been working as a professor of real estate investment and management at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (CH). In addition, since 2011, he has been teaching real estate management, investments and finance at the University of Buxtehude/Hamburg (D) and at the Politecnico di Milano (I) as well as in 2018 at the Virginia Tech University (USA).
Michael Truebestein is member of the board of the RICS (Suisse) and member of the American Real Estate Society (ARES) as well as founding member of Foundation of International Blockchain and Real Estate Expertise (FIBREE). He organized several conferences and published numerous articles and books in the field of real estate investments and finance, real estate asset management, digitalisation, real estate capital markets and trends in the real estate industry.
